Ich habe gestern bei dem Linux Gastsystem CentOS 5.3 - unter VirtualBox laufend - ein Software-Update durchgeführt. Anschließend waren die VirtualBox Additions ohne Funktion.

Nach etwas Recherche bin ich zu dem Schluß gekommen, dass dies an dem Kernel-Update, welches im Zuge des Software-Update unter CentOS ausgeführt wurde, liegen muss. Dies bestätigte sich, denn eine Neuinstallation der Additions hat Abhilfe geschaffen.
